I'm on a Boat

This past Thursday Oranim planned a boat ride for us in Jaffa with other Oranim programs who are also in Israel now. The boat ride itself was really rough. The boat kept jumping out of the water, and you had to hold onto something to keep yourself from falling while walking, or even standing. The view of Tel Aviv was amazing from the boat. We were supposed to be out for 2 hours, but since the water was so rough, and people were getting sick, we went in early. Once the boat docked some of the people in my group and myself decided to stay on and just dance.

Me, Lisa and Jordan decided to walk back from Jaffa to our apartments in the Namal. We left Jaffa at around 8:30 and got back to out apartments at 11:30. We took the boardwalk back and stopped along the way to rest since its around an 8k walk. The highlight of the whole night was the "Mitzvah Tank" that we came across on the walk. The "Mitzvah Tank" is a van that travels around with Orthodox Jews and sets up speakers at a spot for a short period of time. When they stop they play music and dance, and tell people about Na Nach Nachma Nachman MeUman, who was a rabbi. When I finf the story card they gave me I'll explain more.
